Terms and Conditions
- The SoccerCaffe Euro 2004 Prediction Game ("Game") is open to everyone with an Internet connection, provided that the Game complies with local laws of the country of the participant's residence. Entrants to the Game are defined hereunder as 'Participants'.
- Entry to the Game is made by Participants playing the Game on the 'Prediction Game' subpage on the 'SoccerCaffe.com' website. All applications to participate in the Game must be made on the official electronic entry form.
- When you enter and participate in the Game, you agree to participate in the Game in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Rules.
- The Game is not open to the SoccerCaffe Team members, their immediate family and persons living in the same household of such SoccerCaffe Team member.
- Entrants under 18 years of age must seek parental permission before participating in the Game.
- Entries are limited to one per email address.
- Incorrect or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Acceptance of entry to the Game is at the discretion of SoccerCaffe.
- SoccerCaffe reserves the right to refuse any entry or any application which, at SoccerCaffe’s sole discretion, is not eligible or which does not comply with the Rules and/or these Terms and Conditions or contravenes the spirit of the Game. It is also at SoccerCaffe's sole discretion to disqualify any entry or winner, to vary, amend or waive the Rules of the Game or these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Likewise, it is at SoccerCaffe's sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Game at any time and without notice for any reason whatsoever, including for technical reasons such as computer viruses, bugs, tampering or technical failure. The participants agree that no liability shall be attached to SoccerCaffe as a result thereof and that the exercise of such discretion shall not result in any compensation being payable or paid to any participant or other person. It is a condition of entry and participation in the Game that all rules and SoccerCaffe decisions in relation to any matter relating to this competition are accepted as final.
- The decision of SoccerCaffe relating to any matter in connection with the Game, in all prize matters or relating to any arising dispute shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
- SoccerCaffe reserves the right to refuse to accept team names that are considered by SoccerCaffe, at its sole discretion, to be inappropriate or offensive. Unsuitable names will be deleted and the team will appear under a default name supplied by SoccerCaffe.
- SoccerCaffe reserves the right to introduce new facilities or rules to enhance the Game. Details of such introductions will be published on the Game website and will amend or vary these Terms and Conditions and the Rules and will take effect from the date upon which such details are published on the Game website.
- Entrants may make unlimited changes of their predictions in accordance with the Rules and these Terms and Conditions. Such changes will only be accepted via the official electronic form and must be made by the stated time for each Euro 2004 Match displayed on the My Predictions page to take effect for that Euro 2004 Match; any changes will not be made after that time.
- The winner(s) of the Game will be deemed to consent to the use of their name, team selection, likeness and image for publicity and commercial purposes in all media world-wide (including on-line) without further compensation.
- All winners' names will be published on the home page of the Game. All winners will also be notified by e-mail and are required to respond via e-mail providing a valid mailing address.
- SoccerCaffe's decision in all prize matters shall be final. There are no prize substitutions or cash alternatives. The prizes are not transferable without the prior written approval of SoccerCaffe. SoccerCaffe shall have the right to decide on and substitute the prize being offered without notice.
- Winners are responsible for the payment of all applicable taxes incurred by them related to the receipt of any prize they win in the Game.
- The winner of the Game will be the Participant whose team accumulates the highest number of points by the end of the Euro 2004 final Match.
- Entry to the Game is always subject to the laws and regulations of each Participant's country of residence whereby the Participants shall be deemed to be a resident in the country or state identified in their registration details.
- SoccerCaffe does not accept responsibility for (1) lost, late or undelivered results, and /or entries, inaccurate information related to the submission of entries; (2) any technical issue or other issue beyond the control of SoccerCaffe, which might hinder the ability of a Participant to enter the Game and (3) for any event which may cause the Game to be disrupted or corrupted.
